How to Tag The Slides Widget for Figma to Elementor?

Are you using sliders in your Figma design to showcase images? You can tag those elements as an Elementor Slides widget directly from your Figma design using the UiChemy plugin. When you export the design as an Elementor template, that section will use the Elementor Slides widget.

What Can Be Tagged?

A frame containing a nested frame with a background image or color, an inner nested frame with a title and description text, and a button text inside a frame, can be tagged as a Slides widget. You can tag multiple nested frames together.

How to Tag?

To do this, you can choose between two options: Step by Step Method or Quick Conversion. Here, we'll go with the Step by Step Method.

1. First, select the Step by Step Method and click the Start button.
2. Select the top-level page or frame of your layout, then click the Next button.
3. Under the Widget Tagging Mode tab, select the Manual Widget Tagging option.
4. Next, under the Manage Auto Layout tab, you'll see two options: It's already in Auto Layout and Convert to Auto Layout. We'll go with the first option.
5. After that, under the Tag Widgets tab, choose the frame or container that contains your element (widget). Then search for the Slides widget from Elementor Pro in the UiChemy panel and select it. Here you'll see all the supported Elementor widgets.

On the next screen, you'll see information about which element you're tagging as which widget, followed by widget-specific tagging options.

6. In the Slide 1 dropdown, select the first nested frame of the slide item.
7. In the Heading dropdown, select the slider heading text.
8. Select the description text from the Description dropdown.
9. From the Button dropdown, select the frame containing the button.
10. In the Button Text field, the button text will be auto-selected.
11. Click + Add New and repeat steps 6–10 to tag the next slide items.
12. Once done, click the Save button to complete the tagging, and you'll see a Tagged successfully message.

Now, if you export the design, that element will use the Elementor Slides widget with your selected images and text.
