How to Tag The Elementor Form Widget for Figma to Elementor?
Tag a contact or input form in your Figma design as an Elementor Pro Form widget using UiChemy.
If you're using a contact form or another type of form in your Figma design, you can tag those elements as an Elementor Form widget using the UiChemy plugin. When you export the design as an Elementor template, that section will use the Elementor Form widget.
What Can Be Tagged?
A frame containing multiple nested frames, each with a title and an input field with placeholder text, can be tagged as an Elementor Form widget.
How to Tag?
To do this, you can choose between two options: Step by Step Method or Quick Conversion. Here, we'll go with the Step by Step Method.
- First, select the Step by Step Method and click the Start button.
- Select the top-level page or frame of your layout, then click the Next button.
- Under the Widget Tagging Mode tab, select the Manual Widget Tagging option.
- Next, under the Manage Auto Layout tab, you'll see two options: It's already in Auto Layout and Convert to Auto Layout. We'll go with the first option.
- After that, under the Tag Widgets tab, choose the frame or container that contains your element (widget). Then search for the Form widget from Elementor Pro in the UiChemy panel and select it. Here you'll see all the supported Elementor widgets.
You need a UiChemy Pro license to tag Elementor Pro widgets.
On the next screen, you'll see information about which element you're tagging as which widget, followed by widget-specific tagging options.
- Based on your design, you'll see an equal number of Form Field entries.
- In each Form Field, the Label field is auto-filled if your design has a label.
- From the Input Type field, select the input type.
- The Input Field is auto-filled, and any placeholder text is auto-filled into the Placeholder field.
For Checkbox, Radio button, and Select fields, their options are added into the Placeholder field.
You can click the dropdown to change each option, and click the magic wand icon beside each option to see which element it corresponds to.
- Click + Add New to add more fields.
You can only add fields up to the number of fields in your design. Extra fields are removed automatically when you save. If you add fewer fields, only those will be exported, not the full set of fields from your layout.
- In the Button section, the Button field is auto-filled. The Button Text is auto-filled based on your design, and if your button has an icon, it's auto-filled into the Button Icon field.
- Once done, click the Save button to complete the tagging, and you'll see a Tagged successfully message.
Now, if you export the design, that element will use the Elementor Form widget with all your specified information.
Make sure the Elementor Pro plugin is installed and activated to use the Form widget.
