How to Import Multiple Designs at Once With UiChemy?

Import multiple Figma layouts into WordPress at once with UiChemy, instead of one at a time.

In Figma, you can create multiple layouts in a single file, for example, layouts for different pages of a website. Importing each one individually can take a lot of time, so UiChemy lets you import multiple layouts into WordPress at once.

Selecting Multiple Layouts

  1. Choose Step by Step Method or Quick Conversion.
  2. Click Select Pages.
  3. Select the pages you want to import at once, and click Confirm.
  4. Click Convert on the next screen.

You can then import the layouts directly using the Import option, or download the JSON files.

If your Figma file has a lot of layouts, it may take some time to load the design images in the Page Selected interface.

Import

Install the UiChemy plugin on your WordPress site and generate a security token before using this feature.

  1. Click Import.
  2. From the Select Site dropdown, add a site, or select one you've already added.
  3. In the Import Settings section, you'll find an individual tab for each selected layout. Open the first dropdown and choose a Select Method, import as a new page/template, or replace/update an existing one. Let's select New.
  4. From the Export To dropdown, select the appropriate option, let's select Page.
  5. If you want the same settings applied to all remaining layouts, click Apply to below Fields. Otherwise, open each layout's tab individually and configure it as needed.
  6. Click Next.
  7. On the next screen, import individual layouts, or click Import All to import everything at once.

Once uploaded, preview a layout by clicking the button beside it.

Download JSON

You can also download JSON files for individual layouts:

  1. Click Download JSON.
  2. On the next screen, download an individual layout's JSON, or click Download JSON to download all layouts as a zip.

To preview a downloaded layout, upload its JSON file to WordPress.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if the import process is taking too long?

Having many layouts in your Figma file can slow things down, since each design's images need to load in the Page Selected interface. Try importing fewer layouts at once, or check your internet connection.

What settings work best for importing multiple designs?

Select New in the Select Method dropdown for each layout to create new pages, and use Apply to below Fields to keep settings consistent across all of them.

Does UiChemy support importing layouts into any WordPress page builder?

It supports Elementor, Gutenberg, and Bricks Builder, not Divi, WPBakery, or Beaver Builder.
