Install the Figma Plugin
Install the UiChemy Figma plugin, sign in, and start your first AI Express Mode conversion.
AI Express Mode runs from the UiChemy Figma plugin. This page gets it installed and open. If you already use UiChemy, you have it, AI Express Mode appears alongside Classic Mode in the same plugin.
What you'll need
- A Figma account with the design you want to convert.
- A UiChemy account with available Credits (Understanding Credits).
- A WordPress site with the UiChemy plugin installed (Set up the UiChemy WordPress plugin).
Install the plugin
- In Figma, open Plugins → Manage plugins and search for UiChemy, or open the UiChemy plugin page.
- Click Install.
- Open your design file and run Plugins → UiChemy.

Log in
Sign in with your UiChemy account. You don't need to enter a license key in the plugin, your license is fetched automatically once your WordPress site is connected. Your Credits balance appears at the top of the plugin.

Personalize your experience
The first time you open the plugin, you'll see a short "Let's Personalize Your Journey" survey before you reach the mode-selection screen. It's a one-time, six-question form UiChemy uses to tailor guidance and support to how you work:
- What best describes you: Agency, Freelancer, Student/Learner, Educator, or Other.
- What is your primary role: UI/UX Designer, Web Designer, Web Developer, WordPress Developer, No-code/Builder Expert, or Other.
- How often do you use UiChemy: First Time, Once or Twice, Occasionally, or Power User.
- Rate your Figma expertise: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert.
- Rate your Elementor expertise: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert.
- How did you hear about us: WordPress, Figma, Google Search, YouTube Video, Community, Advertisement, AI Tools, Recommended, or Other.
After the last question, click Submit to see a "Thanks for your contribution to make UiChemy better" confirmation, then click Continue to reach the mode-selection screen.
Start a conversion
You'll land on "How would you like to convert?", with two options: pick the one that fits you, and switch anytime:
- AI Express Mode (Recommended): AI converts your design and fixes the gaps for you. The fastest way to a finished page.
- Classic Mode (Full control over every step): Convert your design by hand, step by step, for pixel-level control.
Click Start on AI Express Mode, then select your main design frame.

If it doesn't work
- The plugin won't let you continue after selecting. Make sure you selected the top-level (main) frame, not an inner layout, and that your design is in Auto Layout. See Design Optimization.
- You don't see your Credits. Confirm you're signed in with the correct UiChemy account.
